Regarding the SPIDERWAY AC Conversion System and its Advantages in Converting DC to AC:
Most golf carts are equipped with a direct current (DC) system, where current can only flow in one direction. The new golf cart is equipped with an alternating current (AC) system at the factory, which provides the flexibility you need to increase speed and torque.
AC motors and controllers are more durable, capable of releasing higher speeds (over 30 miles per hour), greater torque, and maintaining stability in harsh environments.Improved braking performance: This SPIDERWAY motor adopts regenerative braking technology, which can be used as a generator to recover energy and convert it into electrical energy to charge the battery, thereby extending your riding time.

When Club Car Controller Replacement, individuals and dealers often encounter compatibility and installation issues based on our operations.
Especially when replacing, if individuals do not take preventive measures and conduct inspections in advance, it can easily lead to the vehicle not functioning properly and even causing damage to the vehicle.
Firstly, the most common issue is voltage system mismatch. Different models of Club Car golf carts may use different voltage systems. If the controller voltage is inconsistent with the vehicle’s original battery system, it may cause the controller to fail to start, abnormal power, or even burn out components. Therefore, before replacing the controller, it is necessary to confirm the vehicle voltage configuration.
Secondly, there is the issue of motor compatibility. Most of the old Club Car models use DC motors, while SPIDERWAY’s controller uses PMSM permanent magnet synchronous motors. If the controller does not match the motor type, the vehicle may experience shaking, slow acceleration, and error codes while driving. Therefore, when replacing the controller, we will also replace it with our AC motor.
In addition, differences between wiring harnesses and interfaces are also common issues. There are differences in the definition of wiring harness, throttle interface, key switch, and direction control circuit among Club Car models from different years. If the wiring is incorrect, it may result in the inability to drive, and in severe cases, it may cause a short circuit or damage to the controller.
Parameter debugging is also a link that many users tend to overlook. High performance controllers typically support parameter settings such as speed, torque, acceleration response, and regenerative braking. If the parameters are not correctly matched with the vehicle configuration, it may lead to phenomena such as jerky starting, weak climbing, and motor overheating.
In addition, many users may encounter compatibility issues between the controller and the lithium battery system after upgrading the lithium battery, resulting in undervoltage protection or inability to charge properly.
Therefore, when Club Car Controller Replacement, it is recommended to choose a professional golf cart controller manufacturer and confirm the model, voltage, motor, and battery configuration in advance. If necessary, professional technicians should install and debug it to ensure stable system operation.
And our SPIDERWAY was founded in 1999 as a diversified enterprise integrating manufacturing, trade, and scientific research. And SPIDERWAY’s main products are controllers, batteries (including wiring harnesses), motors, and other component products. We believe we can upgrade your golf cart and provide you with a one-stop solution.
