At BatteryRing (https://synchrodrive.com/), we facilitate high-stakes B2B transactions involving industrial machinery and hazardous materials. Our policies are structured to ensure safety and minimize financial risk for all parties.
1. B2B Finality & Non-Withdrawal
As a dedicated B2B supply chain platform, all transactions are final. There is no “cooling-off period” or statutory right of withdrawal. By confirming an order, the Buyer acknowledges that the goods (Lithium materials, manufacturing equipment, and battery products) are purchased for professional or industrial use only.
2. Lithium Battery Return Restrictions (Safety & Legal)
Due to 2026 International Mandatory Safety Regulations (IATA/IMDG), the physical return of lithium batteries and sodium-ion batteries is strictly restricted:
- Prohibited Returns: Any battery product that has been unsealed, partially used, or integrated into a system cannot be returned.
- Safety Risk: Used or potentially faulty batteries pose a “Thermal Runaway” risk. International carriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx, Ocean Lines) generally refuse to transport individual battery units back to a manufacturer unless they are shipped under expensive “Defective/Damaged” permits (Special Provision A88/A154).
- Platform Stance: BatteryRing does not facilitate the return of “Dangerous Goods” after the Buyer has taken delivery. Any dispute regarding quality will be handled via Partial Refund or On-site Credit, rather than physical return.
3. Equipment & Machinery Warranty
For battery manufacturing equipment (Coaters, Slitters, Testing Cabinets, etc.):
- Warranty Scope: Warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts.
- Non-Returnable: Once machinery is crated, shipped, or installed, it cannot be returned for a refund.
- Inspection Period: Buyers have 7 business days from delivery to the destination port/warehouse to file a claim for manufacturing defects. Claims must include high-resolution video evidence of the malfunction.
4. Raw Material & Chemical Policy
Returns for lithium powders (LFP/NCM), electrolytes, or separators are strictly prohibited once the original vacuum-sealed packaging has been opened or the moisture-barrier has been compromised. Contamination risks in B2B chemical supply chains make the resale of returned materials impossible.
5. Valid Claims & Resolution
If a product is proven to be non-conforming or defective upon arrival, BatteryRing mediates the following resolutions:
- Component Replacement: Sending new parts to the Buyer’s facility at the Supplier’s expense.
- Partial Credit: A discount applied to the current or future orders to compensate for minor non-conformities.
- Technical Support: Remote or on-site technical assistance to rectify equipment performance.
6. Shipping & Duty Liability for Returns
In the rare event that a physical return is authorized in writing:
- Cost: The Buyer is responsible for all return freight, insurance, and Dangerous Goods Handling Fees.
- Customs: All import duties, taxes, and clearance fees incurred upon the return to the country of origin are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
- Packaging: Returned goods must be packed in original UN-certified packaging and must comply with the 30% State of Charge (SoC) rule for air/sea transit.
7. Force Majeure & Regulatory Changes
BatteryRing is not liable for the inability to process a return or refund due to sudden changes in international hazmat shipping laws, government seizures, or disruptions in global logistics channels.
