The Curtis 1215-8307 Controller is a high-current DC series motor speed controller for industrial vehicles, cross-referenced to HELI part number DQKC-015. According to reference documents, this controller works with 36V/48V battery systems and features a 500A 2-minute rated current. Typical applications include HELI forklifts, pallet trucks, stackers, reach trucks and other industrial vehicles.

Important note: Curtis has discontinued original production of the 1215-8307. Units currently available are aftermarket replacements manufactured in China. These replacement units claim identical dimensions and functionality to the original, and support programming via the Curtis 1313-4331 handheld programmer or 1314 PC programming station.

Built with power MOSFETs, highfrequency PWM and microprocessorbased control, this controller integrates overvoltage / undervoltage protection, thermal protection, fault diagnosis, contactor control, plug braking, emergency reverse and antirollback functions, wellsuited for traction systems of electric vehicles operating in harsh industrial conditions.
